Decided to take a drive thru the Nor’Easter up to Bolton Landing, NY on Lake George. I joke, of course, as we have had no snow at all and the worst of the storm that came our way took the form of a pretty, cold, stiff wind, from … (wait for it …) … the north east. At the Sagamore Resort they have an annual event – The Ice Bar. It’s impressive in scope and form. Lots to drink – S’Moe Martinis & Coffee w/ Kahlua – and complimentary s’mores to boot. The lake is massive and awesome at this time of year – not frozen this year – anywhere (!) not even in the shallows along the shore. It’s happening tomorrow as well if you fancy a drive!
